Creative Frontend UX/UI Engineer — Build the Future of Music Tools

Tamber is building the future of music creation—and we’re looking for a frontend engineer with a sharp eye and clean code to help us bring it to life.

We’re an AI music startup founded by artists, for artists. Our mission is simple: empower musicians to create faster, better, and with more joy—without ever replacing the human in the process. Tamber helps with everything from songwriting to DAW control, and now we’re gearing up to launch a new platform that feels as intuitive and magical as the music itself.

That’s where you come in.

We’re working with a world-class design agency to define our visual identity, and we’re looking for someone to bring those designs to life in code—turning beautiful mockups into elegant, performant, and responsive interfaces using React, Next.js, and Tailwind. You’ll collaborate directly with both the agency and our internal team to make sure every element feels fluid, expressive, and effortless.

This role is mostly implementation—but we want someone with taste. Someone who can spot a janky transition, suggest better UX patterns, and help refine interactions to make things feel just right. Think: strong creative intuition, but zero ego.

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of frontend development experience
• Expert-level skills with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
• A sharp eye for clean design and strong visual polish
• Experience working from high-fidelity designs (Figma or similar)
• Comfort working with external designers and giving respectful creative feedback
• Strong sense of UX—can think from the perspective of a musician or creator
• Bonus: familiarity with Framer Motion, Lottie, or animation/motion libraries
• Bonus: experience with WebGL/OpenGL or interactive visual tools
• Bonus: interest in music, audio tools, or the creative tech space
