Distractive is a full-service marketing agency specializing in emerging crypto ecosystems. We were recently selected to be a core contributor to Polkadot, where we serve as the de facto marketing department, and also provide marketing services to other blockchain-based technology projects.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Brand Designer, you’ll be at the heart of transforming strategic brand stories into captivating visual identity systems that resonate across various mediums. Here’s what you'll be doing:

• Strategy: Dive deep into the strategic process to ensure our designs align with clients' goals.
• Insight: Build a robust understanding of briefs and client objectives to drive impactful designs.
• Spark: Bring fresh, energetic ideas that push boundaries and go beyond the obvious.
• Emotional Connection: Explore innovative ways to bring strategies to life, forging strong emotional connections with audiences.
• Collaboration: Directly collaborate with third-party creatives (illustrators, copywriters, animators, etc.) to elevate our projects.
• Team Synergy: Work with our design team to expand and lead ideas across motion graphics, animations, interactive content, and brand assets.
• Feedback Integration: Embrace feedback to refine initial concepts into flexible and comprehensive design systems.

And yes, we know what you are thinking, you’ll be involved in evolving Distractive branding.

We’re looking for 5+ years of experience under your belt, your portfolio should showcase:

• Strategic Brilliance: A strong focus on creating brand identities that are both strategically grounded and idea-led.
• Creative Ambition: The drive to explore beyond conventional solutions.
• Design Mastery: A keen eye for detail in color, typography, imagery, and motion.
• Practical Execution: An understanding of how to create effective and implementable designs.

• Team Player: A low-ego approach that prioritizes team success and client value.
