Plan B — Bitcoin-Native Layer 1 Blockchain
Plan B is a Bitcoin-native Layer 1 blockchain built for real-world use — combining the security of Bitcoin with EVM compatibility, BTC staking via Babylon, and fast transaction finality.
The core design challenge was communicating a technically complex infrastructure product to three very different audiences simultaneously: developers, DeFi users, and institutional clients. Each group has a different mental model, different risk tolerance, and different entry points into the product.
The visual language was built around controlled tension between raw technical credibility and accessibility. A light, airy base palette prevents the heaviness typical of crypto products, while bold typographic scale and signature orange accents carry the energy of the brand. Custom 3D objects — modular blocks, keyboards, abstract forms — were used to represent abstract blockchain concepts without relying on overused iconography. The "bitcoin" wordmark with embedded 3D elements in the hero section anchors the product identity immediately.
Navigation and content architecture were designed to let each user type self-select their path without friction — a tabbed benefit system separates developer tools from DeFi features, while the ecosystem map communicates network breadth at a glance.
