Earth Wallet
Earth Wallet - Reading the Earth’s Balance Sheet Earth Wallet is a scroll-driven descent from orbit to bedrock, built to make an abstract idea physical: money can be created at will, but metal has to be found, dug and processed. The experience opens 40,000 km above the planet on a polar orbit pass. As you scroll, the camera falls toward Canada, through the atmosphere and onto real terrain, where a simulated LiDAR sweep maps the critical mineral belt and surfaces copper, gold, neodymium and silver as floating data cards. From there the story moves into an interactive stockpile chart comparing global mineral demand against production capacity from 2024 to 2050. It ends underground, in a geological cross-section that follows a quartz and gold vein through the rock, before returning you to orbit. Every section is tied to one continuous camera move, so altitude itself becomes the navigation. Scale, data and narrative unfold as a single journey rather than a series of pages, turning commodity and supply chain policy into something you can feel.
