Position type: Full Time - Contract To Hire - Remote (30+ Hours)

Hourly Rate: $45.00 / Hour

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Full-Stack MERN developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using NextJS concepts and workflows. You will also be responsible for translating UX/UI designs into pixel-perfect, functional web-apps and for profiling and improving front-end performance and documenting our front-end codebase To ensure success as a Full-Stack MERN developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of JavaScript and React concepts, excellent front-end coding skills, and a good understanding of progressive web applications. Ultimately, a top-class MERN developer should be able to design and build modern user interface components to enhance application performance as well as stand up pivotal backend infrastructure.

We are also looking for this candidate to have experience working with other backend technologies such as MongoDB, ExpressJS, and NodeJS. You will also be expected to utilize other helpful tools like Prisma, tRPC, Upstash, Mandril, Twilio, and Stripe. 

Duties & Expectations:

  • Translate UX/UI Designs into pixel-perfect, functional web experiences.
  • Manage and develop ReactJS/NextJS app projects. (MERN Stack)
  • Develop user interactions using frameworks like GSAP.
  • Develop features to enhance the user experience for various clients.
  • Ensure websites and apps are optimized for smartphones.
  • Develop using SEO and Performance Best Practices.
  • Build reusable code for future use.
  • Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Utilize a variety of other web languages to write web pages/apps. (HTML, CSS, JS, PHP)
  • Clearly communicate project requirements and progress to project managers.
  • Test and optimize websites across popular browsers and devices.
  • Help in developing scalable processes for web development.
  • Manage code using GIT for Version Control.
  • Implement solid build and deployment processes.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ Years of Work Experience.
  • 2-3 Years of Experience using MongoDB, ExpressJS, ReactJS, & NodeJS
  • Proficiency using Prisma.
  • Proficiency using Tailwind CSS.
  • Proficiency using tRPC.
  • Proficiency using Upstash.
  • Operational understanding of softwares like Mandrill, Stripe, Twillio, etc.
  • Operational understanding of design programs like Figma.
  • Understanding of SEO principles as it relates to Google Lighthouse Scores.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with PHP is a bonus
  • Experience in Product Development is a bonus.
