Senior Digital Designer

Studio Freight is looking for a contract-to-hire, senior digital designer with 4+ years of experience to lead web design projects from concept to omfg-worthy delivery. Collaborate with strategy, design, and development teams to create the best work of your career.

Responsibilities

---

• Design: Lead digital projects from concept to delivery with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strategy: Support our content strategist by providing valuable feedback to advance UX and web copy.
• Production: Manage, build and oversee asset creation, prototyping, QA and CMS pipelines for a seamless Figma to browser pipeline.
• Relationship-building: Develop strong, trusting relationships with clients and thoughtfully respond to their questions.
• Presentation: Help rationalize and present projects with an equal measure of form and function, in both internal and client-facing meetings.
• Collaboration: Work with other creatives, developers, and writers to bring innovative ideas to life.
• Studio: Contribute to shaping the brand, marketing efforts, and reputation of the studio.

Qualifications

• Based in the US
• 4+ years of experience
• Experience in building and implementing brand identity systems across various industries
• Excellent attention to aesthetics and detail
• Ability to lead projects and refine existing processes
• Capacity to balance multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong conceptual thinking and interest in design strategy
• Clear implementation of strategic plans
• Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive work culture with clients and team members

• You handle feedback well. Not everyone will like your work. Constructively handle client and internal feedback, applying changes to meet both needs.
