Judge a book by its cover
The evolution of cover jackets on literature shows how design has become more and more important through time in our society. At first, they were there just to protect the pages inside, but in the middle of the 19th century publishers realized that cover design could be used as a medium to promote their product.
Nowadays, when we walk into a bookstore book covers speak to us. Some hush seductively while others are like a scream to our eyes. They tell us about the genre of the book, its tone and style.
In this post we show you a bunch of the most fresh, different and beautiful cover designs you can find on bookstores today. And although it's what's inside what counts, it is impossible look at them and not judge the book by its cover.
