Over 100 years old, The Carnegie Corporation of New York has an impressive story to tell. CCNY’s philanthropy realizes Andrew Carnegie’s vision by striving to use its funds not merely to promote human knowledge and education, but to foster the peace and equality of opportunity that allows that knowledge to flourish. Blenderbox worked with Carnegie to completely re-launch its web presence. It was essential that this new site capture the organization’s dynamism as it moves past its 100th year. Finding the right balance between the serious tone of the grant data with the journalistic narratives of the grantees’ work and biographies was our principal challenge.
