Musée des Confluences - Adventure’s just begun

The musée des Confluences wanted to create an original website to express their wishes while celebrating their first anniversary. The Mute team imagined an experimental website revealing little by little a visual representation of the main pillar. Through the evolution of different scenes, user is invited to enter words with his keyboard to launch animations and interactions with the pillar. Through this story, he will discover pictures and sound atmospheres suggesting several subjects covered by the museum: origin of mankind, conquest of space, Man’s place in species, Man’s imagination. This dreamlike and poetic journey questions user about ideas and representations, abstract and real, while letting user live his own story.
