Thought.is

Fundamentally a 'corporate umbrella' site, Thought.is's WebGL headpiece explores visually and interactively several themes key to the Thought & Expression Company's ethos – thought, ideas, connections, time and the act of archiving data. A 'thought piece' in more ways than one, the 'eye' / 'black hole', 'time' / 'space' and 'network' / 'vacuum' visual / interactive nods all aim to echo these themes. The different photographs that overlay the eye like reflections of what it 'sees' were each commissioned by Thought catalog for articles at different points. The site's portfolio provides a window through to a flickering infinite loop, suggestive of the endlessly absorbing nature of the company's key projects.
