All material contained on this website is the property of Awwwards. All rights are reserved and any unauthorized use or reproduction is strictly prohibited. Our content may not be used for commercial purposes unless expressly authorized by Awwwards.

Websites featured on our site remain the intellectual property of their creators. However, by submitting a site, you agree to its publication on our site and reproduction in other publications produced by Awwwards.

Awwwards accepts no responsibility for the information and/ or content provided on any of our winners' websites.

Awwwards accepts no responsibility for changes made to any winning site subsequent to its appearance on Awwwards. Altered designs and/ or content may be removed from our database with immediate effect if it is felt that the site in its current form does not meet our standards and criteria.

2. Services and Products Offered by Awwwards

Awwwards offers a range of services and digital products designed to support, promote, and connect a global community of creative professionals, including designers, developers, digital agencies, and other industry stakeholders. These services are accessible through the Awwwards website and are governed by these Terms and Conditions, which constitute a legally binding agreement between the user and Awwwards.

Awwwards may modify, update, or discontinue certain services and products from time to time in order to improve functionality, respond to market needs, or comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Any such changes will be made by updating the Site and these Terms and Conditions.

The following is a general description of the main services and products currently offered:

2.1 Website Submissions:

Awwwards provides a platform for creative professionals and agencies to submit their web design projects to be evaluated and recognized by the Awwwards Jury and the global community.

Awwwards currently offers the following submission formats:

Standard Submission: Submit a single website to be evaluated and considered for recognition.
Discount Package: Submit up to five websites at a reduced rate, ideal for agencies or individuals with multiple projects to showcase.

Additional submission types or promotional opportunities may be made available on the Site from time to time.

By submitting a website for consideration, you confirm that you have read and accepted the terms of the evaluation process, and you agree to abide by the final decision, as determined by the Awwwards Jury. All websites submitted are evaluated based on the following four key criteria:

Design
Creativity
Usability
Content

Awwwards strives to maintain a fair, transparent, and expert-led review system. The outcome of the evaluation is final and not subject to appeal.

Submission Policy: Awwwards does not accept websites containing nudity or sexual, violent, or illegal content. In the case of suspected plagiarism, please send links of both sites to support@awwwards.com and we will resend the sites to the jury to be reviewed. Users should note that submitting a site to Awwwards does not guarantee they will receive a score from the judges. Only sites awarded "Site of the Day" will receive their scores, by means of their publication on our site.

2.2. Directory Plans Subscriptions:

Users may subscribe to different professional plans that offer visibility and exposure in the Awwwards professional directory. Available plans include (i) Basic, (ii) Professional, and (iii) International, each offering varying levels of profile features and geographic reach.

2.3 Academy:

Awwwards offers a curated selection of online courses aimed at creative professionals. Courses may be purchased individually, or accessed through a subscription (monthly or annual) that grants access to a wide range of available content on the platform as described in the Site.

Please note that when courses are purchased individually, they are permanently associated with the user’s account, and access to these courses will remain available indefinitely. However, for subscription-based access, users may only access content for the duration of their active subscription period. Once the subscription expires or is cancelled, access to the content will be revoked.

2.4 Market:

Awwwards provides a go-to online store to sell digital products to the largest community of designers and developers in the world.

Awwwards currently offers the following Market submission formats:

Standard Market Submission: Submit one product.
Market Discount Package 3: Submit 3 products.
Market Discount Package 5: Submit 5 products.

In order to maintain the quality and integrity of the Market, all products submitted for publication are subject to review and must comply with the following guidelines:

Before being published, the product must be accepted by the Awwwards team who will check for: (i) veracity; (ii) quality; (iii) price; and (iv) compliance with standards
It’s forbidden to upload images that do not correspond to the product.
It’s forbidden to use descriptions or advertising different to the company that manages the product.
Product urls must not lead to generic galleries or Home pages.
The price shown must not differ from the final price offered on the referred site.
The product must not differ from the description or the image sent to Awwwards.
The product may be removed at any time without refund if: (i) Conditions are changed after publication; (ii) If any user complains about the conditions or the quality offered; (iii) If the url changes and leads to a place other than the product itself; (iv) If any type of surreptitious advertising is detected; (v) If product conditions or quality change; (vi) If Awwwards requests a sample of the product and the bidder cannot supply the sample to verify its quality; (vii) If the Awwwards team considers that the product does not meet the minimum standards (quality, type of product, price, etc.)
The description of the product must include everything related to the product itself and its quality - misleading advertising or confusing descriptions will not be accepted.
Misleading images that do not correspond to the product or that include advertising or are manipulated to attract attention are not allowed.
Subscription products are not allowed.
WEB TEMPLATES OF ANY KIND ARE NOT ALLOWED.
Services cannot be advertised.
Once the product has been published, it will appear in the list in order of inclusion, both in general and in the category to which it belongs.
If, once the process has started, your product is not accepted, said product will be refunded in the form of a new slot (credit) to upload another product. Money will not be refunded.

2.5 Job Submissions:

Awwwards allows companies and professionals to publish job offers on the Site, connecting them with a global audience of skilled creatives.

Awwwards currently offers the following Job submission formats:

Standard Job Submission: Submit one post.
Discount Package: Submit 3 job posts.

2.6 Books

Awwwards offers a selection of digital and physical publications ("Books") available on both a free and paid basis. These Books provide professional insights into trends, technologies, and best practices in digital design and development. Created by industry experts, they are intended for informational and educational use. All content within the Books is protected by intellectual property laws and may not be reproduced, distributed, or modified without prior written consent from Awwwards.

3. Fees & Payments

Access to certain services and products offered by Awwwards may require the payment of fees. The type, frequency, and amount of fees depend on the specific service or product selected by the user. Payments may be one-time (e.g., for individual course purchases or website / market / job submissions) or recurring, in the case of subscription-based services such as Directory Plans or subscription to Academy.

3.1 Common Payment Terms for One-Time and Recurring Fees

By using Awwwards' services, you agree to pay the applicable fees for the content or services you purchase and authorize Awwwards to charge your selected payment method. If you purchase any Services that we offer for a Fee, you agree to both Awwwards and our third party service providers to store your payment information. Fees will be charged whether or not you use the services or content, and you are responsible for paying all fees on time, as well as any applicable taxes. Awwwards reserves the right to suspend or remove access to any content or service for which payment has not been received in full.

From time to time, Awwwards may offer promotions or discounts on certain products or services. The price applicable to the content will be the price at the time of purchase. Only Services and features clearly indicated as "free" are free or without charge. It is not the responsibility of Awwwards to provide free support to you in the use and operation of Awwwards.

You will provide accurate and up-to-date information about your credit card or other payment method. You represent and warrant that (a) this information is truthful, accurate, current, and complete, and that you are authorized to use this payment method, and (b) you will promptly maintain and update this information to ensure it remains truthful, accurate, and current.

Awwwards reserves the right to change any fees or begin charging for any previously free service at its sole discretion. Any changes will take effect immediately upon being posted through the relevant services (such changes will not apply to fees already paid).

3.2 One-Time Payments

Some services or products available on the Site are subject to a one-time fee, payable in advance and in full at the time of purchase. These include, but are not limited to:

Website submissions
Individual online course purchases from the Awwwards Academy
Market submissions
Job submissions
Books

3.3 Subscriptions and Recurring Payments

Certain Awwwards services, such as Directory Plans or Academy subscriptions, operate on a recurring billing model. These services provide ongoing access to features or content for the duration of the subscription period. By subscribing to any of these services, you agree to the recurring payment terms outlined below.

By subscribing to any of these services, you authorize Awwwards to store your payment method and automatically charge the applicable fee at the start of each billing cycle (e.g., monthly or annually), unless you cancel the subscription before the renewal date. The price of the subscription will be indicated at the time of purchase and you shall pay such a fee through the payment method offered by Awwwards. By participating in a subscription service, you authorize Awwwards to maintain your account information and to charge your account automatically and on a recurring basis at the time the next recurring purchase is due without any further action on your part.

If a recurring payment cannot be completed for the full subscription amount, Awwwards reserves the right to charge a prorated amount and will continue to attempt to collect the remaining balance. If a new billing cycle begins with an outstanding balance (and the subscription has not been canceled), Awwwards may either (i) cancel the subscription, or (ii) allow it to renew automatically while continuing to pursue collection of the unpaid amount. Access to the subscribed service may be suspended at any time due to non-payment.

Awwwards may change subscription fees for future billing periods. In such cases, notice of the price change will be provided in advance by updating the Site and these Terms and Conditions. The new price will apply from the next billing cycle. If you do not agree with the new price, you may cancel your subscription prior to the next billing date. Users are responsible for ensuring that their billing information remains current and accurate. Failure to do so may result in service disruption or additional charges.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

4.1 Refunds

Awwwards offers refunds exclusively for individual online course purchases made through the Awwwards Academy. You may request a refund for any individual course within 14 days of purchase, provided that the course has not been substantially consumed (for instance, if more than 40% of the course has been accessed, the course will be considered substantially consumed, and no refund will be granted). Such refund requests are subject to the following conditions:

Refunds are not available for accounts that violate these Terms and Conditions or are deemed, at Awwwards’ sole discretion, to be otherwise unacceptable.
If Awwwards determines that you are misusing the refund policy, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and deny or restrict any current or future use of the Services, with no obligation to issue any refund.
To request a refund, you must contact us via our support form here.
Awwwards will issue refunds using the original method of payment. If the original method does not support refunds or has been blocked or deactivated, Awwwards will not be obligated to process the refund by alternative means.
No refunds will be provided in the event of profile or account deletion.

All purchases of these products are considered final and non-refundable.

4. 2 Cancellation of subscription services

For services that are offered on a subscription basis (such as Directory Plans or Academy subscriptions), your participation will continue until cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings on the Awwwards website, before the next recurring charge is generated.

Cancellations will only take effect at the end of the current subscription period, and you will continue to have access to the subscribed services until the end of that term. If you cancel before the next recurring charge is generated, it will not be processed and you will not be charged. However, if the recurring charge has already been processed at the time of cancellation, it will not be refunded.

As access to subscription-based services is granted immediately upon registration, you acknowledge and agree that the provision of digital content may begin immediately, and that, as a result, you lose your right of withdrawal under applicable consumer protection laws.

Please note that deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription or entitle you to a refund.

4.3 Plan Change Policy

For services that offer multiple subscription plans, please note that plan changes are not permitted during the active subscription term. This includes both upgrades to a higher-tier plan and downgrades to a lower-tier plan.

If you wish to switch to a different plan, you must wait until the current billing cycle ends and cancel your existing subscription before the renewal date.

5. Termination

Services may be terminated by us, without cause, at any time.
Services may be terminated by you, without cause, by following the cancellation procedures: (i) via your user panel or (ii) via Awwwards customer support.
Awwwards may terminate Services at any time, without penalty and without notice if you fail to comply with any of the terms of this Agreement or the intellectual property protections applicable to these Services.
Notice of termination of Services by Awwwards may be sent to the contact e-mail associated with your account. Upon termination, Awwwards has the right to delete all data, files, or other information that is stored in your account.
